Alaskan Apple Crisp

2 cups dried apples
½ cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup rolled oats
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp salt
¾ cup butter
Wash apples.
Soak apples overnight.
Simmer in water for 10 to 15 minutes.  Add white sugar.  Stir until dissolved.  Pour
into a greased casserole dish.
Combine flour, brown sugar, rolled oats, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.  Rub
butter into mixture to form coarse crumbs.  Spread over apples.
Bake at 350 degree Fahrenheit for 30 minutes.
